Is guy gardner gay
guy gardner is transgender, here’s why;
- it makes his entire backstory fit in so much better in various ways.
- his affair with his alcoholic abusive piece of shit father for one. it gives us a more in depth reason for why his dad sucks, not only is he a horrible abusive human: he’s also extremely transphobic. always propping up mace (guys older brother) on a pedestal, saying how amazing he’s doing. despite how hard guy tries with his academics and in sports, its never quite enough for his father. because ‘you’ll never be a real man, not like your brother mace is. i dont know what you are, but you’re no son of mine’
- so this leads to guy always trying to overcompensate to acquire his masculinity on a level similar to his brothers, or a level that he thinks his father wants from him
- this is the start of guys whole ‘guy’ persona. this is where he takes all the stereotypical things he knows are associated with ‘guys guys’ and amps it up as tall as he can (like, honey, modifying your name legally to guy was a bit much. but we grasp this and we love you for it)
- which look, ok, no where in ca

HBO Max's 'Green Lantern' Series Will Feature A Lgbtq+ Superhero
HBO Max is keeping things inclusive with their upcomingGreen Lantern series. The show, which has only recently begun filming, has just cast War Horse thespian Jeremy Irvine in one of its lead roles as Alan Scott, the first-ever character to grip the Green Lantern mantle, and also a canonically gay superhero.
The Green Lantern series will take place over several decades and settings, focusing on different heroes who have taken the name over the years. Scott was the first, having become popular enough after his introduction in 1940's All-American Comics to celebrity in his own spin-off. While not a same-sex attracted man during his authentic run, the character was eventually rebooted in 2011 as a younger version, and it was this incarnation that was specified as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Hal Jordan If you know me fairly well, you understand that I am into comics; and my absolute favorite superhero is DC Comics’ Green Lantern, one of the founding members of the Justice League—alongside other notable members like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash.
Recently, all of the comic book producers have been on a kick to make their stories more LGBT inclusive. DC has already told us that Batwoman is a lesbian. In evidence, Marvel is just about ready to have Northstar, their openlygay Canadian member of the X-men, marry his homosexual partner Kyle Jinado. If there was ever a day to be male lover and reading comics it is now!
So naturally, when you hear that DC Comics has decided to re-launch a popular major superhero as organism gay in their new series of relaunched storylines called “Earth 2,” you think I would be delighted to find out that Green Lantern has been the one chosen to soar the rainbow flag. However, I am not.
Kyle Rayner For those of you who do not know, there contain been five Grassy Lanterns throughout the DC Universe: Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner [appearing in that order]. Ther
