Joseph Gordon-Levitt, an actor who has never shied away from a gay role or gay-themed project, is interviewed by Brandon Voss for The Advocate.

The celestial body of last year’s excellent romantic comedy (500) Days of Summer co-stars with Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page in the fresh flick Inception.  I interviewed Joseph at the premiere of Stop-Loss in which he co-starred with Ryan Philippe and Channing Tatum but my fondest memory is meeting him at Outfest about five years ago.

It was around the time he had starred in Mysterious Skin and I had no concept who he was (I did not watch 3rd Rock from the Sun) but the guy I was seeing at the time had a little role in Skin with Joseph and asked me to take a photo of him with the actor.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is gracing the cover of Out magazine this month and talking about his reaction to fame, his brother, and rumors that he's gay.

When asked about how he's handled being in the spotlight, he explained that self-perseverance has become a learned skill set.

"It can be really awkward and hard to be idea of as this thing on TV," he told the mag. "Before knowledge it or creature able to assess it, I just knew it made me really anxious."

He also spoke on why his thriving record company, hitRECord, reminds him of his late brother, Dan.

Sorry, ladies—Joseph Gordon-Levitt is off the market. During his first-ever interview with SiriusXM's Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Don Jon star revealed he's been seeing someone special.
