Rob Marciano, the meteorologist fired from ABC News earlier this year tracking reports of inappropriate behavior, has set up a new house at CBS News.
According to Oliver Darcy's Status newsletter, the 55-year-old has been hired to attach the network's expanding weather team.
Marciano's departure from ABC came after multiple complaints from network staff about his deed, including a heated altercation with a Good Morning America producer.
His dismissal followed an alleged pattern of incidents, including one in 2022 that led to him being temporarily removed from the morning show's studio.
Marciano was reportedly 'banned' from the morning show's studio after making a colleague uncomfortable, according to Page Six. Sources cited ire management issues he was facing while going through a divorce, describing 'a number of alarming events.'

Good Morning America's meteorologist Rob Marciano has broken his silence after it was revealed his wife, Eryn, has filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.

The 54-year-old has been secretly battling heartbreak for over a year as it was revealed that Eryn filed the divorce paperwork with the Westchester, New York Supreme Court, in June 2021, according to court documents obtained by People, and an command for a trial was filed in May.

Opening up about his "difficult" situation, Rob confessed that he tried to "save the marriage".
"The last couple of years have been very difficult," Rob told People in a statement. "I didn't want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing. My center now is on my kids."

Marciano was hired by the network in 2014 and became the senior meteorologist for “World News Tonight” and the weekend edition of “Good Morning America.”
One of his last assignments to air on the network was a Sunday report on storm recovery in Louisiana.
In September of last year, Marciano waxed positive about his future with the network on the 10th anniversary of his start there.
