But really: After Sasuke leaves the village behind, Naruto spends an exceptional amount of second thinking about and brooding over Sasuke. Naruto plans to duel Sasuke and die along with him, despite his plans to get Hokage. Naruto is also the only one who refused to take part in a plot to murder Sasuke. He is more committed to Sasuke than Sakura, who is canonically in love with Sasuke. The series is full of comments and prophecies pairing Naruto and Sasuke together. It is not a stretch to assume Naruto is also in love with Sasuke.
Some fans insist that the writer does not mean to imply any male/male couplings, despite how the writer drew a scene (fake but still a scene) of Sasuke and Sai having sex. Recently, Naruto used harem no jutsu, turning himself into a crowd of naked men. The sexy and harem jutsus call for meticulous studying of naked people beforehand, so this was no small deal.

Okay, this is how I headcanon the sexualties of several characters from Naruto. Don’t grumble, this is how I see them.
Team 7
Naruto: straight, though I could argue he’d be comfortable with the idea of being with a guy he trusts as he gets older.
Sasuke: demisexual, only ever really had a thing for Sakura (after she stopped being fangirly).
Sakura: demisexual, only ever really had a thing for Sasuke (when she stopped being fangirly).
Sai: demisexual, he never really thought much about it though can appreciate the body of a man or woman as an artist. Ino is about the only one he ever felt romantic about it (I blame Danzo).
Kakashi: bi-curious though aromantic, would’ve slept with either a man or female as a means of relief and not romantic. Unlikely to ever settle down (though has a reputation).
Yamato: asexual, highly mistrust he was ever aroused by anything.
Team 8
Hinata: demisexual, only ever really had a thing for Naruto to the point of ignoring other guys.
Shino: straight, often mistaken for asexual though. The Aburame Clan may appear emotionless and even forgettable but it doesn’t mean they don’t
